On September 26, entrepreneurs flocked to displays staffed by representatives from county, state and federal organizations committed to helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses.  First in a series of free monthly business development fairs, the event was a one-stop shop offering information on funding, business consulting and training.  Attendees included both startups and established businesses seeking to expand and represented a broad spectrum of sectors—manufacturing, construction and services. Want to learn how to write a business plan that captures the imagination of financial institutions?  Need help researching your market?  This was the place to be!

Rich of Millsboro – “It was a good idea to pull everyone together in one room; it was like one stop shopping.”

Debbie of South Bethany – “The event was so informative; I am glad for the opportunity and for the resources that were available. It is good to be coming to a state that is encouraging business.”

Carolyn, who has a soap business said, “This experience today has broadened my thinking and I have many more ideas as to how I can expand and grow my business.”
